Rescue Emergency Care

All of our courses are run under the guidance of REC, our awarding body.

REC have a firm grounding in the outdoor industry, and all of our trainers are outdoor professionals, meaning that our courses are relatable to daily life in the outdoors.

You don't have to be a outdoor activities enthusiast to come on one of our courses, each course is tailored to the participants needs.  Whether you spend a lot of time on the road, ride a horse, or climb mountains for a living, our courses are perfect for you.

Outdoor First Aid (16 hour)

This is our most popular course, and can be merged with the EFAW qualification to give the participant both certificates.

This course gives anybody that works or plays in the outdoors a range of skills to promote rescue and recovery of a casualty, and meets the requirements for all British NGB Awards.

HSE Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (6 or 8 hour)

The EFAW qualification is appropriate for those that work in a low risk setting, or in close proximity to a higher qualified person.
Throughout the day, you will gain many of the skills needed to take care of a casualty in the workplace.

Paediatric First Aid

Compliant with the EYFS, our paediatric First Aid courses are designed to be engaging and are tailor made to your setting.

Not only do we offer the standard 6 and 12 hour paediatric courses, we also offer the 16 hour forest school practitioner course.

Skills Courses

Our skill courses don't carry a qualification, but provide participants with all the skills they need to deal with emergency situations.
We offer both local defibrillator training and school CPR training as skill courses.

AED training

This 2 hour course trains the participants on the basic principles of CPR and use of a defibrillator (AED).  It is a great way to give all staff the confidence to be able to use a workplace AED.
